Something that has been bugging me the last couple of days, besides the fact that I missed Wrestlemania and did not get to watch the Undertaker win once again or watch the Rock “layeth the smack down on John Cena’s candy…”, is that of the issue of treason. For some reason, this has been an issue that has not been of “high attention” in our Judicial and even political arena today. I mean every now and then we will hear of treasonous crimes in the news, but it has been cast aside for some other media outcry that is going on instead.
The most famous of treason in the United States history is that of Benedict Arnold. Who “sold out” the American Colonist in the Revolutionary War. You can always check out the wonderful world of Wikipedia for more information, Click here for Benedict Arnold info. Then there is the famous Guy Fawkes of England that tried to blow up Parliament, this event was made even more famous by the movie “V for Vendetta.”
However, the one thing that bugs me the most is that of our President, Barack Obama, and his open mic confession with the out going president of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev.
